4-Day Singapore Itinerary: Best Things to Do & Trip Cost

Singapore is built for short trips: efficient transport, outstanding food and a dense set of attractions. Four days is enough for Marina Bay, a neighbourhood food crawl, Sentosa and one nature or wildlife highlight — without feeling rushed.

Best time to visit Singapore

Singapore is warm and humid year-round, with rain possible in any month. February–April is often slightly drier; November–January can bring heavier showers. Indoor attractions and hawker centres make weather less disruptive than in beach destinations.

Day 1 — Marina Bay

Gardens by the Bay (Cloud Forest / Flower Dome), Marina Bay Sands views, and the evening light shows. Walk the waterfront at night — this is Singapore’s postcard core.

Day 2 — Culture neighbourhoods

Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam (Arab Street / Haji Lane). Eat at hawker centres — Maxwell, Lau Pa Sat or Tekka are easy starting points. This is the best day to understand Singapore beyond the skyline.

Day 3 — Sentosa

Universal Studios, beaches, or a calmer Sentosa spa/beach day depending on your group. Return to Clarke Quay or the CBD for dinner.

Day 4 — Nature or shopping

Singapore Zoo / Night Safari, or Orchard Road shopping and a museum (National Gallery or Asian Civilisations Museum). Keep the final evening near your hotel if you have an early flight.
